Hi there everyone! Laura with you today sharing a cute project using the Clear Scraps 6x6 Shadow Box!
These are the perfect size to make a sweet little piece of decor! You can use them to display pictures, or just like this box, make a vignette of adorable little squares! This idea is meant to give you some inspiration to create your own box--for any holiday or season! That's what is so great about these--the 6x6 size is perfect so it's not a huge overwhelming project. It's easy to create one up quickly, and of course, it would make a great gift for someone as well!
The feet are not included with the box--I used some small wooden spool I had lying around. It looks great without the feet too! It's super easy to paint or stain, I used red and aqua acrylic paint, and I did paint the pieces BEFORE I put the box together. I always find this a lot easier. The little squares are simply a piece of patterned paper matted on a red cardstock square.
I used foam tape to pop some of the stickers and ephemera pieces to give it a bit more dimension. Then I added a few finishing touches with twine--including outlining the front of the box to really make the squares "pop" and enamel dots. The large sticker on the top is a great sentiment, with the large red & white bow on top to tie it all together.
These boxes in the 6x6 size are so fun to play with! The possibilities are truly endless! You could use stencils, chip pieces like the embellishment chipboard punchouts, and so much more! So get those creative caps on and start creating!
Thanks for stopping by today! Stop back soon for more inspiration!
