Hello there everyone! Laura here with you today to share more of our BRAND NEW goodies from the Clear Scraps release!
This is one of the NEW Memory-Dex options from Clear Scraps! The Truck Memory-Dex box is so adorable! You can fill it up with any of the Memory-Dex Cards of your choosing--but there is also an AMAZING new set called Harvest Memory-Dex Cards--with either chipboard OR acrylic options! I shared a set with you already--here are a couple of pics:
To see options available for the NEW chipboard and acrylic Memory-Dex dividers, you can find them, and also all the new box options HERE.
To create the truck, I started by painting all the pieces. You can assemble first if you'd like, I find it easier to paint all the flat, un-assembled pieces. I used burnt orange (entire body of truck), black (mirrors and tired), and gray (for the bumper) acrylic paint. To give it a bit more of a "rustic
look, I went around all the edges of the painted pieces, once they dried, with some distress ink. For the bumper piece, I also trimmed a piece of red cardstock to fit behind it.
This is easier than trying to paint behind it in just the right spot! This shows thru like red "taillights" and also highlights the cute heart in the bumper piece!
To add a little fun decoration--I used some stickers, enamel dots, a tag, and twine on the tailgate too! Just a few items is all it takes so you don't overwhelm the cuteness of the truck!
On the front a few stickers and the sentiment--couldn't resist a little "license plate" looking sticker also for a nice extra touch. Giving all the fall vibes!
Thanks so much for stopping by today! Make sure to check back soon for more inspiration!
