Hi there everyone! Laura here today to share some amazing NEWNESS from Clear Scraps!
How cool are these Shaker Tags??!! Love that you can completely see through them! Great to use with alcohol inks and such, or just leave them clear like I did here. These are going to be awesome to use as an embellishment on scrapbook pages, as an addition to a gift package or bag....so many great ideas! This tag is the Shaker Tag Paw. There are quite a few additional options available in the store too! You can check them out HERE. They are in the "What's New" section of the Clear Scraps store (always fun to peruse and see what's just been added to the store!). You'll find baby, summer/beach, graduation, and many others so you can get creative! Make sure to keep an eye out on the blog and the other social media to see all the ideas we'll be sharing--so so many cute projects!
For this tag, I painted the top part of the frame with black acrylic paint, and I covered the tag with paper. I brushed the edges with ink and added some paper strips to jazz it up a bit, but I wanted to keep it simple so I could add a title later on a scrapbook page. This would really make a cute gift tag for a friend who loves dogs!
I added some bright, colorful sequins to the center to make it "pop" with the colors in the papers. Then I added some stickers to the paw too. When you put together the shaker, you'll use the painted frame piece, one bare chipboard piece, and one acrylic piece between those 2 frame layers (remember to remove the protective coating on acrylic). This is then glued to the front of the tag. You do the same with the 2 plain chipboard pieces and other acrylic piece, and that is for the BACK of the tag. That's how you create the clear shaker pocket. Remember to fill it with sequins/fill before you glue it all together!
Thanks for stopping by today! Stop back soon for more inspiration!!
