Hi there everyone! Laura here with you today to share a fun project using the new Clear Scraps Memory-Dex!
This is the Regular DIY Wood Box in the 4.75 x 12" size. It was painted with a soft green paint, and then glued together. The outside of the box was decorated using some simple patterned paper, stickers, alphas, and enamel dots. I kept it simple since it's going to be used on a regular basis since it's an address file.
I did use a bit of foam tape to give this a little dimension, but didn't do too much embellishment. Just a little touch. Then it was time to fill up the box!
Earlier this month, I had shared the "Family, Friends, and Birthdays" cards that I had made to be the main dividers in this Memory-Dex box. You can find the post about those HERE. Those were created using the Houses Chip Dividers 3pk. If you'd like to see all the options available for the cards and boxes, they are in the What's New section in the Clear Scraps store right HERE. To make these alpha dividers in the address box, I used the Regular Tab Chip Dividers 3pk. These are perfect to be able to thumb through to find address. It's easy to use scraps of pretty papers and stickers to add a little something to each card. When it's time to fill it up, I'll use simple index cards trimmed down to write the addresses on.
The birthdays section also uses the tabbed cards, but this time it's the Regular Tab Acrylic Cards. They are created using alcohol ink, paper and alpha stickers. Super simple, but it will be so easy to organize addresses and birthdays. Everything will be right at my fingertips!
Thanks so much for stopping by today!
