Clear Scraps--Shiplap Shapes--Vintage Christmas Home Decor

Hi there everyone!  Laura here with you today to share some inspiration for creating your own Christmas home decor using the Clear Scraps Shiplap Shapes!  I've started this project with the Clear Scraps Cutting Board Shiplap Shape Large. 

The cutting board was painted with white acrylic paint and then left to dry.  Next I took the Clear Scraps 5x9 Plaid Stencil and used a red acrylic paint with a bit of pink mixed in to color match and stenciled onto white cardstock.  Once dry I matted this strip onto a piece of black cardstock to make it pop a bit, then glued onto the bottom of the cutting board.  I fussy cut out some pretty embellishment pieces and added those using some foam tape to create dimension. 

The Clear Scraps Christmas Chipboard Word Title was painted red, then coated with glitter glue.  The pretty ornaments are from Clear Scraps too!  They are one of their chipboard embellishments.  These are called the Star Bulb Chipboard Embellishments.  They remind me of old vintage Christmas ornaments.  They were painted and I added a coat of glitter glue to these as well.  I then went around the wreath (that was also fussy cut and glued onto the cutting board shape) and added touches here and there of glitter glue.
