What Cool Stuff is Made Of

Hey!! Tmika here - a brand spanking new design team member!! I am so excited to share with you my crafts and humor (sort of). For my first project, I decided to go with the Mixed Up 3x8 Chip Album.  This 6 page album is perfect for those little snaps we all love to take!I wanted to use bright & lively paints and colors. This fit so many of my summer pictures.

I started out by choosing my paper and paints. I chose Vicki Boutin's Sweet Rush mainly because of the bright colors!

I choose matching paints and inks to coordinate. A little tip... if you don't have the color to match in paint, then add some ink to some white paint. Voila!

I painted the perimeter of the album fronts and backs to match the papers I choose. Then I punched a hole with my Crop-O-dile and added hole reinforcers. Then I added gold
stitching.

I grabbed stickers and die cuts to embellish the cover of my album. I added cardstock to the back to make it more sturdier. I made one of the die cuts into a shaker by stitching directly on folded acetate. I added stitching to the diecuts.

Here is how I decorated the album cover.

I printed my pictures out and resized them to 2.5 rounded square. I used my Silhouette software and Canon printer to do this. I ran the photos through my Xyron Sticker Maker to make my job a bit easier.

I took the rest of the sticker sheet and die cuts to embellish the inside of the album. Added some gold gems for pizzaz. I also added some writing to the photos. I finished the mini album off with some coordinating ribbons and I called it finished!!

Here are some shots of the inside of the album and my beautiful family.  They are "What Cool Stuff is Made Of". 💕
