Sweet Summertime Layout

Hi crafty friends!

Anyone scrapbook? I have to admit that I am not a consistent scrapbooker and when I create a layout, it. usually is 6x8 instead of 12x12. Today I am sharing a sweet and simple layout that I designed with my daughter in mind.

To shake things up, I used the Mini Shaker Popscicle. I heat embossed the top layer of the shaker to add texture and color. I backed the shaker with a watercolored page and added a swirled sequins mix.

The background of the entire layout is filled with splattered inks. I wanted the yellow-orange hues to be more vibrant so I went back in with fossilized amber stain and used it as watercolor. I used the 4x6 Coffee Stain Stencil and added more splatters throughout. The floral die cut is stamped and ink blended to coordinate. I popped that element up to create more depth. Stitched accents were my finishing touch.

All of these elements + my daughter make for a sweet summertime layout. I hope you enjoyed this post and project.
