Sunset Anniversary Album

Hi everyone! Natasha here, debuting my first project for Clear Scraps. I thought the Boat Wood Accordion Shaker Album would be the perfect anniversary album. Make it with me!

To begin, grab a few pieces of 12 x 12 paper and map which portions you would like to serve as mats for your album.

Overview_NP

Grab your craft knife and glue and began adhering each wood page down one side at a time and cutting away the excess. Once completing one side, punch your holes, adhere the mat to the other side, and then punch again. Do this for all pages.

Begin inking with dried marigold stain from the top to the middle of each detailed panel.  Now meet the dried marigold with  stormy sky stain, working from the bottom to the middle.

Create an "acetate sandwich" once you have decided which panel would serve as the cover.*Remove the film from the side that you are adhering to the wood panel.

Choose which matted page would serve as the background for the cover. Add your sequins mix inside of the acetate sandwich.  Apply glue to the detailed panel and adhere the solid panel on top, ensuring that everything is aligned.

Using the 4x6 Plaid Stencil and picket fence ink, add detail to the top of the cover.

Now add all of the additional decorations you would like to the front cover. I used scraps from cutting out the page mats and some flowers from my stash.

And there you have it! Go back in with stickles, bling, and a sentiment and your cover is complete! To bind the album, I used some white cording that has shimmer.
