Hi my crafty friends, it's Sandy Diller here. Today I have a fun project to share using some great products from Clear Scraps. I have used the
Large Square Shiplap Shape like a canvas to create a 4th of July celebration. This was fun to create so let's get started.
I used the
Mini Shaker - Milk Can to hold the flags that I made myself but there are plenty flags of all sizes available for you to purchase if you don't want to make your own.
The
6" Fireworks Stencil was used to create the colorful fireworks in the background. Because I wanted to use many different colors the stencil was masked off several different times to get the desired effect. I used transparent embossing paste and many colors of glitter. This process took a while due to the fact that drying time was needed for each layer.
The shaker was painted and assembled.
Don't forget to remove the protective coating on the acrylic shape.
Hot Glue was used to hold the flags on the back of the Milk Can. Using a die from my stash, I cut some grass for the bottom of the shiplap piece.
Using fun foam, the word Celebrate was cut and added to the canvas.
Thanks for joining me today and I hope you have a fun and safe 4th of July,
