Clear Scraps Chipboard Embellishments--Birthday Wishes LO

Hi there everyone! Laura here with you today to share a fun
LO with you, and it's all about the birthdays!
Bright colorful and fun, and Clear Scraps chipboard
embellishments that are just the right touch to show off
and enhance all those great birthday photos!
Clear Scraps has so many Chipboard Word Titles to
pick from! Make sure to check out all they have
to offer--holiday, special occasion, vacation, really a
lot of options! For this LO the word "Birthday" and
the word "Wishes" were used. They were painted with
acrylic paint in bright colors that went well with the
pretty swirled patterned paper used as the base of this LO.
You could use just one of the title words of course--I
just liked the idea of using the two words so I could use
the different colors to make the title pop on the page.
The birthday cake used here is one of the Clear Scraps
Chipboard Shape Embellishments. Acrylic paint was
used for this one also, but remember you can use
most mediums--ink, stamps, sprays, embossing, really
a lot of options! This is another item in the store at

Also if you look at the background behind the cake
(I love the way it peeks through the birthday cake
chipboard) the swirled background you see was
created using the brand new 5x9 Circle Dots Stencil.
It's so awesome that you get 2 stencils in one for
twice the fun! I used acrylic paint and gently
sponged it on to white cardstock through the
circle portion, then brushed the edges with a
bit of blue acrylic paint. It makes a festive
background behind the birthday cake chipboard.
