Hi there all! Laura is here to share with you today!
Who is ready for warmer temperatures and
the beautiful flowers they bring? We are just starting to
see some activity here in the midwest and until then,
I have a great little spring decor project using some of
the new items available from Clear Scraps!
This bright, fun home decor project starts with the
Clear Scraps Square Medium DIY pallet shape.
It's painted a bright cheerful aqua color of acrylic paint,
and then it was stenciled, using white acrylic paint that
was sponged on over the NEW Clear Scraps
Love the fun detail and depth this stencil gives this piece!
I also love that you get 2 stencils in one on these
new 5x9 stencils!! So many different possibilities!
If you'd like to see all the options available,
check out the NEW section HERE!
Another of the great new items you can find in the
Clear Scraps store are the fun Shiplap Shapes!
They come in different sizes and shapes, and you
can use them to create in so many ways! I used
the Circle Shiplap Shape Small in this project.
It fits just perfectly in the center of this pallet shape
so it makes a perfect layering piece! It was just
painted with orange paint and then I used a strip of
a bright, springtime pretty, floral print paper
across the center of the circle, then added the sweet
little flower cart and sentiment.
It really creates the focal point for this home decor
project. The circle is surrounded by pretty paper
ephemera flowers to really make it pop!
Feels like Springtime doesn't it?! And super quick and
simple! Just a few enamel dots and it's complete! If
you wanted you could add a ribbon to hang this from,
or just display it in an easel.
Thanks so much for stopping by today!
