Hoppy Easter 3D Frameables

Hi Crafty Friends!

Dana here! Today I'm sharing a home decor project using Clear Scraps new 3D Frameables!  For this project we'll be using Clear Scraps Base and  square frame Click Here   along with Word and shape Hoppy/Bunny Click Here

The papers I chose to decorate my 3D Frameable are from Echo Park, My favorite Easter collection. But any paper collection you have on hand will work just fine.

To begin I chose 2 coordinating papers to decorate the 2 bottom bases. Trace around each base with a pencil. Cut out and glue your paper to each wood base. I recommend using a strong permanent glue like Beacon 3 in 1. After your glue sets, trim around the edge of each base, using an xacto knife including the 3 slots on top of each base. Distress around the edges using Clear Scraps sanding tool Click Here  till smooth. Distress the inside slots too.  Then glue both bases together lining up the slots. Set aside to dry.

Next take your Hoppy wood words and cover front and sides using a light pink acrylic paint. Once dry I added several enamel dots to my Hoppy words.

For my bunny shape I traced onto a bunny pattered paper and glued, trimmed and distressed along the edges as we did previously. I glued one small pompom for his tail and layered acouple vellum flowers on his neck. Then added a small enamel dot for my flower center.

Take your square frame and trace onto another patterned paper. Repeat steps as before. Or you can add paint, stencil, glitter to your frame if you desire. I like to add a photo on the back of my frame. This is a great way to display a special photo memory to enjoy for years to come.

I decorated my frame adding foam dots to the back of my Easter sticker letters and adhered along the top of my frame. Then added acouple egg stickers to the left side of my frame.

Now slide your pieces into the slots on your base and arrange as you desire. I glued some blue twine along the edge of my top base piece.
