Clear Scraps Shiplap Shapes--Bee-utiful Spring Decor
April 20, 2022
Hi there everyone! Laura here with you today to share a quick and
easy project with one of Clear Scraps BRAND NEW Shiplap Shapes!
How cute is this little Cutting Board Shiplap Shape?!! The great
thing about these shapes is that the smaller versions are a GREAT
fit for the cute little tiered trays everyone loves to decorate! This
shape and several others are are available in the store now!
There are some great options for all of your project ideas, and
also some are in the larger version! Make sure to check out
the "what's new" section in the Clear Scraps store right HERE!
Such a cute addition to spring/Easter decor in this display! And
very easy to create this project. The base Shiplap Shape was
painted using gray and white acrylic paint brushed lightly onto
the surface. A little of the wood was left to peek through to give
it a lot of texture. To give the handle on the board a little pizazz,
one of the new Clear Scraps Stencils to the rescue!
The 5x9 Brick Grunge Stencil has a great "stripe" stencil as one
of the two in one choices on these stencils. A little white acrylic
paint was dabbed onto the handle through the stencil to create
the stripes. With these new stencils, love you can get double the
creativity from one stencil! If you'd like to see all of the options
available of these versatile stencils, you can find them in the
"what's new" section of the Clear Scraps store as well! Pop over
to visit and check out all the newness!
The project was completed with a few pieces of ephemera,
a little foam tape, a cute bow and it was ready to use in my decor!
Thanks so much for stopping by today!
