Clear Scraps Mini Shaker--Bee Happy

#Hello Layout

Hi crafty friends! It's Jennifer on the blog today with a quick, easy layout to share with you today!  I used the @# Chipboard Embellishment Shapes which I thought would go perfect with a photo of my daughter and her best friend! Especially in this age of social media!

For the hashtag, I colored the chipboard with Distress Oxide Ink in Faded Jeans.   I found it easiest to apply with a blending brush.

As for the ampersand, I used my new matte chalk polish in rose pink (the lid has a built in applicator).    I applied the polish in a circular motion and set it aside to allow to dry.

I used the new 5x9 Circle Dots Mixer Stencil with Distress Oxide in Fossilized Amber to add color to my white cardstock.  Again, I used a blending brush to apply.

I adhered both chipboard pieces using my Beacon 3-in-1 Adhesive as it dries quickly and will not warp your products.

Here is a close up of the Mixer Stencil + Distress Oxide!  I added in some decorative brads as well as sentiment stickers to accent.

Telling the story is so important! I added some journaling at the side of my photo. I prefer my typewriter but try to use my own handwriting from time to time.
