a little scrapbooking inspiration using one of the brand
new Clear Scraps Mini Shakers!
I don't know about you, but I really love the extra
"something" that a fun embellishment can add to a layout.
The Clear Scraps Mini Shakers are perfect for that! So
easy to coordinate to your project with any paper or
paint, or ink you'd like so you can match the colors,
theme, whatever! They really are a great addition
to any project! You can really get creative with all
the choices that are available in the Clear Scraps store.
This is one of the new Mini Shakers--the Milk-Can.
It's the perfect addition to this farmhouse inspired layout!

To decorate this shaker, I traced the back piece on some fun
patterned paper, cut out and glued to the back, then I glued
on 2 chipboard outline layers. I painted the top outline with
black and gray acrylic paint. After everything was dry, I
added some of the Clear Scraps Glamour Sequins, then
glued down the acrylic (make sure to peel the protective
coating off BOTH sides!!) and then the top outline/frame.
I added a bit of twine around the top. I put together the
rest of the layout, the farm papers are so cute with this
milk can! Lot's of options for this one, farmhouse chic
collections are everywhere right now! This would also
be a great addition to any home decor project!
