Family & Home 3D Frameable

Tami with you on the Clear Scraps Blog with a project I'd like to show you.

Given the number of 3D Frameables I've shared with you, it's no secret I REALLY like them!

I think the concept is great, and love being able to have a piece that I can change out with the seasons.

I had painted the Base with Deco Frame a versatile distressed white so it would go with a variety of themes and colors.

This project uses the exact same Base & Frame, but I changed out the theme and used the Home & House Word & Shape...

I have also been experimenting with how to add on items to the frame without gluing them so I can change the designs out seasonally.

Take a look at how I made this project and note how I was able to add the Family Chipboard Word Title on the top...

I painted Home and chimney on the house with peach paint and Family with green paint that coordinated with the papers I wanted to use. After they dried, I outlined them with pen to add some detail...

I traced around the roof and house on the back of the printed papers I wanted to use, them cut them out and adhered them...

To adhere the Family Chipboard to the top of the frame, I cut a piece of cardstock, put it in the frame, and marked where I wanted the word to be. Then I covered the cardstock with the quote and some striped paper. I rounded the corners at the top. Then I inserted the cardstock back in the frame and adhered the Family Chipboard piece to the top, leaving the end of the "Y" to go over the top of the frame...

I added a few more embellishments: some lace along the roof line. And some floral cut outs; which I adhered using removable adhesive so they could be taken off when it was time to change out the frame again...
