Bone + Hydrant Chipboard Embellishment Layout
February 26, 2022
Hello friends! Happy Saturday! It's Jennifer here today to share a layout I created using some cute dog themed embellishments, the Bone n Hydrant Chipboard Embellishment Shapes! I documented a fun photo of my dog (who happens to love chasing squirrels up trees) and thought these chipboard shapes would be perfect.
I began by using the 12 Inch Spiral Mascil and yellow spray ink to create a background on white cardstock.
I then took my chipboard and painted the hydrant and bone with red and white paint respectively.
Once my paint was dry, I applied embossing ink to the surface. I then used glitter embossing powder and heat set.
I found using my Beacon 3-in-1 Adhesive to be the best to affix my chipboard pieces to my page.
I typed out my journaling on a typewriter and cardstock then cut the sentences into strips. I adhered them down using my Beacon 3-in-1 Adhesive.
Here is a close up of the spray ink/Mascil effect; I paired it with a sunburst I cut from my Silhouette. I then added smaller embellishments such as epoxy stars and enamel dots.
Thank you for reading today! You can find all of the Chipboard Embellishment Shapes by clicking HERE! Have a great day!
