Tami here on the blog with you today with a project I'd like to share.
It's hard to believe that January is almost over but tomorrow is FEBRUARY 1st! It seems like it was just New Years Eve! Time sure does fly! LOL!
It's time to start thinking about Valentine's Day - it is only 2 weeks away!
This sweet little tag could be used as a decor piece, a gift tag or even a card...
The base is one of the chipboard tags from the Chipboard Tag Album. I covered it with several different printed papers, including some red foil for shine!
I decided to layer up several of Clear Scraps' chipboard pieces. I started with the I Heart U Mini Shaker. I painted the I and the U using wine shimmer paint. The heart at the center was painted a pale blue to match my printed paper.
Next, I painted the Arrow Heart Chipboard Embellishment with Gold, Silver and Pink Paint.
When all the pieces were dry, I started assembling the pieces. I traced the heart from the shaker on red foil paper and then cut it out and adhered it to the heart on the base of the shaker. I filled the shaker with Lovely Sequins and Sprinkles Heart Confetti.
The Arrow Heart Chipboard Embellishment was adhered to the I Heart U Mini Shaker. Then the chipboard pieces were adhered to the chipboard tag.
I repunched the hole at the top of the tag and used paper ribbon to tie it with. I tore the ribbon into thinner pieces, then curled it using the blade of my scissors.
A few coordinating stickers finished off the tag.
