Coffee Love Valentine Card

HiYa!

Tami joining you on the Clear Scraps' Blog today with a Valentine card to show you.

Does anyone in your family love to go get coffee? How about a friend or co-worker? If the answer is yes, then I have an idea for you!

My son is addicted to dunkin' coffee; it seems like he either has a cup or is on his way to get one! He inspired this card.

This bright and cheery valentine card features a chipboard coffee cup...

I started with the Coffee Mug Chipboard Embellishment and layered on the Love Chipboard Word Title.

I used the colors found in my printed papers to select my paint colors; they remind me of Conversation Hearts. I painted all the pieces using 2 coats of acrylic paint.

Once all the pieces were dry, I used red paper to back the heart on the cup sleeve and began assembly.

I added my printed paper accents first, then glued the sleeve to the cup, I used 3D Squares to adhere the Love chipboard piece to the cup, then adhered the cup to the card front.

The card is quick and simple to make, so if you have several coffee lovers around you, you can whip up a batch almost as quick as making a cup of coffee!

If you wanted to add a little something - how about including a gift card to their favorite coffee spot?
