Hi there friends! Laura is here with you today to share a little Christmas Spirit home
decor! I grabbed one of the ever so awesome Clear Scrap's Medium DIY Square Pallets
and got creating!
It's a bright, colorful festive project that's easy to do! To start, the edges of the pallet
were brushed with some bright green acrylic paint. The the patterned paper was cut
to fit and glued down (I did brush a little distress ink on the edges first!). If you want,
you can always just paint the entire thing too. Then it was time to decorate it up!
My theme was believing in Santa, and Clear Scraps to the rescue! Their Mini Shakers
are hard to beat! The Mini Shaker Sled is the perfect version of Santa's own!
The frame was painted with black paint since it was a background piece but I still wanted
it to "pop" to show the outline of the sleigh. The back of the sled shaker was traced onto a
piece of peppermint stripe patterned paper. It was glued all together after I added some
pretty, festive, sparkle using the Clear Scraps Holiday Sequins. The word "Believe" is one
of the many Chipboard Script Word Titles available in the Clear Scraps store. These are
seriously one of my very favorite things Clear Scraps makes! The are a great addition to
home decor projects like this, to cards, to layouts. Really a lot of ways to get creative with
them too! I painted the "Believe" with acrylic paint and then layered on some glitter glue
for just a touch of sparkle. You can ink, or stamp on, or spray mist or even emboss to your
hearts content on these pieces! Make sure to check them all out HERE.
Just a few more stickers, a journal card I fussy cut and a little twine and of course some
adorable little jingle bells and a touch of bling to finish it off just right!
Thanks so much for stopping by today!
