Hello friends! The Christmas countdown is on with only a week left to go! Do you have your shopping finished? I am so behind this year but its ok as it will all get done. Today, I'm sharing a Christmas themed mini using the Acrylic Deco Slimline Album! At first, I had planned to create a Christmas countdown/December Daily album but decided against it. I thought I would have an album to add photos and journaling to at a later date.
I left the front cover of the album "bare" but did add the new Scallop Rectangle Mini Shaker Shape! Not only did I fill the center with sequins, but inserted die cuts and stickers as well! You can also see the Fancy Chipboard Borders that I painted with white acrylic paint and adhered using my Beacon 3 in 1 Adhesive.
Each page measures 5.5 x 11 so I cut my background pages to 4.5 x 10.5 inches. This gave enough room for the deco tabs to not be covered by patterned paper. I then added spaces for journaling and or photos.
Here, I utilized one of the longer list cards of the collection I used to create a page about things I love about Christmas!
For my mini albums, I always love inserting something different for a page such as a pocket or flap. Here, I used paper to sew a pocket to store photos and tags for journaling.
Most of my photos I mat with white cardstock and plan them to be 4x4 or 4x5. I also usually will layer extra patterns under my photo mat as well along with embellishments.
Thank you for stopping by the blog today! You can see all of the Slimline Albums by clicking HERE! Have a great day!
