I used the Pumpkins Chipboard Embellishment to make this Thanksgiving Card...

To make the card, I started with a 10 X 5 piece of kraft cardstock that was folded in half to make the card base.

A 4 3/4 square piece of green printed paper was adhered at the center for a mat. Then a strip of printed paper was added down the left side. I liked the pattern that was on the paper, so I cut around the design on the top of the strip.

To embellish the chipboard pumpkins, I used Scribble Sticks to color the pumpkin, stem and leaves, then used a damp paintbrush to smooth out the colors. The wash of water also brightens the colors.

I covered the solid pumpkin with printed paper and backed the open pumpkin with a coordinating paper. I used the Sanding Stick to smooth away the excess paper around the edges of the chipboard.

I added a sticker for the sentiment and adhered a small paper banner to the end of it.

I used Foam Tape to adhere the open pumpkin to the card.

Printed papers and chipboard pieces were lightly distressed using brown chalk ink.
