Hi everybody! Leslie here, taking a break from the Autumn/Fall and Christmas projects to share something a little different. This July 4th card features our USA Chipboard Embellishment. I love all things Americana and this chipboard embellishment was just the ticket for a super easy Independence Day card!
I cut a standard size A2 side-folding card base from ivory cardstock along with a layering panel from patterned paper, and rounded the bottom right corner. I adhered the patterned paper and a trimmed piece of patriotic ephemera to the left side, and added a piece of skinny red washi tape at the seam. I adhered medium blue and red cardstock to the back of the USA Chipboard Embellishment and then ran a black alcohol marker around the outside edge. I adhered the chipboard to the card front along with scrabble tiles from my ephemera stash to complete the front.
I cut the inside panel from ivory cardstock and embellished it with the patterned paper used on the front and a piece of skinny red washi tape. I stamped the sentiment in blue ink and layered the panel on red cardstock.
