Clear Scraps DIY Pallet--Our Hive Home Decor
November 11, 2021
Hey there everyone! Laura here with you today to share a fun home decor project!
Once in a while it's fun to do something a little different instead of just a specific seasonal
project. This one has a bit of a fall vibe, but could be used everyday too. It starts with one
of the Clear Scraps DIY Medium Square Shapes. These pallet shapes are the perfect base
for a home decor project. They come in a variety of shapes (and sizes too!) but I think the
medium is my fave! It's just the right size to display anywhere you'd want to set up a cute
little display. If you'd like to see the other shapes available, you can find them HERE.
For this project, I covered the wooden slats with patterned paper that I inked around the
edges. Super simple! Then I started with the title on the top slat and built the other
stickers around there. I used the "welcome friends" and Our Happy Family" stickers
around the title to make it a focal point on the project.
The circle dots wreath is a chipboard piece from Clear Scraps. This one could
be used for so many different things. I thought it made a nice addition to this decor
piece so I painted it with black acrylic paint and then added a few stickers to give it
a wreath feel like a wreath you'd have on your front door as a welcome.
If you'd like to explore more of the chipboard shapes, you can find them in the store
over on the Clear Scraps site right HERE. You can find just about anything for any
holiday or occasion! It's nice to have some of these basics (like the wreath/circle in
this project) on hand so you can pull them out to use them anytime you want that
little extra something on a project, card or LO.
Thanks so much for stopping by today! Stop back soon for more inspiration!
