Autumn Days Acrylic Layout

Hello my Crafty Friends!

Dana here! The leaves are changing and full of color! Cool Chris days of Autumn are upon us.  I have a layout project to share today in memory of my mother. I'll be using Clear Scraps Acrylic 12x12 sheet Click Here and Maple chipboard branch Click Here

Using the acrylic sheet creates a sturdy base and create a unique one of a kind layout! You can use a variety of inks, stamps or rub-ons as I'm using in this project.

First off I chose a patterned paper for my background.  The papers I'm using are from 49 & Market Vintage Artistry "In the Leaves" collection. I cut down to to size leaving a 3/4 inch of acrylic visible. Before adhering your paper to the acrylic,  you must peel off the protective film on both sides of your sheet. Now adhere your paper centered on top of your acrylic sheet.

Now taking some rub-on images I applied in scattered areas around the edge of my acrylic sheet layout.

Now take your Clear Scraps Maple Branch chipboard embellishment, remove the staple and then I applied some of my favorite Finnibair pastes in Gold, Brown and Rust using a stiff brush and a pouncing motion to apply my pastes to the branches, and leaves. I love the texture it creates. Let dry. Then I cut apart acouple of the leaves from my chipboard branch. We'll be using these leaves in scattered areas on our layout.

Next I chose a 5x7 photo as my main focal point, and adhered a chipboard sticker frame on top of my photo using foam tape. I also applied foam tape along the edges of the frame before adhering to my layout. This adds dimension. I chose a ephermera sentiment flag and applied to my frame with foam dots, at the upper left edge of my frame.

Now decide on what embellishments you want to add to decorate your layout. I used some vellum pieces, another ephermera sentiment, and some butterflies. Take your Clear Scraps Maple branch and apply around the bottom of your layout using Beacon 3 in 1 glue. I applied some of my vellum pieces hanging over the acrylic edge of my layout. Then added some epoxy dot stickers along the top edge and right side of my layout.
