Hey Pumpkin Fall 3D Frameables

Hello Crafty Friends!

It's Dana here and I'm back  to share a 3D Frameable home decor project perfect to kick off the Fall season! Have you seen all the new 3D Frameables from Clear Scraps? The possibilities are endless and so many different styles to chose from. For my project today I'm using Clear Scraps Deco Frame and Base Click Here  and Fall Pumpkin Word N Shape Click Here

First off we'll be working on our two bottom base pieces.  I'm using Carta Bella Hello Autumn collection to decorate my 3D Frameables. I chose 2 coordinating papers and traced around each bottom base and cut them out. Then taking my x-acto knife I carefully trimmed around all the edges. With my sanding tool I smoothed out any rough edges. Repeat the same steps with your smaller base piece. Make sure you mark and cut all the inside slots making sure your word/fall pumpkin pieces snap in and out easily. I used Beacon 3 in 1 glue to adhere both base pieces together, making sure my slots line up evenly.

Next take your pumpkin shape and paint with some orange acrylic paint and add green paint on the stem. Make sure to paint the sides of your pumpkin shape.  For my Fall words,  I used Finnibair rust paste and using a stiff brush and pouncing motion I applied the rust paints over my letters in layers. This adds texture to your letters. Let dry.

Take your top Deco frame and a coordinating paper you desire and repeat the same steps as you did previously with the base pieces. Smooth around all the edges.  You may add a photo to the back of your frame if you desire. Then taking your glue, adhere the top Deco wood frame to your frame base.  Making sure all your edges line up evenly.

To finish my pumpkin, I wrapped some twine around the stem a few times. I took a piece of green wire and wrapped around a pencil to curl my wire. I stuck the wire piece with some glue behind the twine. Added a sticker flower and a crystal gem in the center. To finish off, I glued one of the chipboard pieces to the center of my pumpkin shape.

To finish off my project, I added a few embellishments to the bottom of my frame. And glued a flower in the upper right corner of my frame.

Now slide all your pieces in place and you've got the perfect Fall home decor piece to display in your home!
