Dallas Cowboys Circle Pallet
September 10, 2021
HiYa,
Tami here on the blog with you today with a project I'd like to show you.
The football season has officially kicked off as the season opener was last night - Cowboys V defending Super Bowl Champs Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
I have found in the past few years that I REALLY like football! Who knew! LOL! So when my hubbie asked what I wanted to do for my birthday, I asked to go to Frisco for the Cowboys Training Camp.
I wanted to make something as a reminder of the trip and that would feature a photo of my hubbie and I on the trip.
I thought the Medium Circle Pallet would make a good base and the size was just right to sit on the shelf in our game room...
I started by tracing the circle on the back of a Cowboys printed paper. I cut it out slightly outside the outline.
I measured the width of the top pallet piece at it's widest and cut that much off the top of the circle. I repeated those steps with the middle and bottom pallet pieces. Then I glued all the strips on and used the Large Sanding Stick to remove the excess paper from the edges...
I painted the Enjoy the Journey XL Wood Quote with white paint. When the quote dried, I adhered sticker footballs over the "o's"...
I painted the Small Deco Frame with silver paint and embellished with cowboys stickers...
Then I just had to add the photo and glue it all together.
Thanks for visiting the Clear Scraps Blog, please come back soon to see what wonderful projects the other designers have for you!
