Clear Scraps 3D Frameables--Spooky Lil' Monsters

Hi there everyone!  Laura is here with you today to get you into the Halloween spirit!

Do you have a cute Halloween picture you'd like to frame and use as part of your spooky

Halloween decor?  The Clear Scraps changeable frames have you covered and I've got a

cute project to share to give you a jump start on your own spooktacular project!

Oh do I LOVE these frames!  This project started with the Base with Deco Frame.

Love that you can choose a base and then build your own creation around it!  I used paint

in orange and black to paint the frame and the bottom of the base.  I dabbed the black on

the edges to give it a spooky look.  Want to see the other frame options?  Find them HERE.

I traced the top part of the base and the back of the frame onto the bat patterned paper,

cut them out and glued on.  You can use a file or sandpaper to tidy up the edges and also

to create the slots in the base that the frame and spooky and bat will fit into.

The customization available with the frames is so cool!  You can pick your word and

shape!  I chose the Spooky-Bat Word and Shape.  They are painted with black and green

acrylic paint.  I used a sponge to get that mottled look and brushed the edges of the bat

with green to make it show up a little better and frame it a bit.  I added a couple of cute

little monsters and a little sentiment and epoxy stars on the bat as well.

A few stickers and a little title on the top of the frame, is a fun touch to add color and interest

to your project.  You can also see the sponging on the edges of the frame in this close up.

Thanks for stopping by today!
