Welcome Sign

Hi everyone, Steph Ackerman here sharing a new Welcome Sign I created.  Clear Scraps has some amazing products that can be mixed and matched to create some amazing projects.

Using the Rectangle 12x10 Medium DIY Pallet, I painted it with both blue and green paints to simulate both the grass and sky.

I also had this wonderful Welcome XL Script Wood Word I wanted to use.
The wood contrast against the painted background stood out, so I left it plain.
I could have painted it, or even inked it, but I liked the contrast.
I adhered it across the panel on a slight angle.

For some added dimension, I placed the 4x6 Grass Stencil along the bottom edge, inking it with green ink and moving it along the bottom edge until it was completely inked.

I chose an ink shade a little darker than the paint as I didn't want it to stand out.
I just wanted the hint of dimension.

Next, I chose the Chipboard Wheelbarrow Embellishments, cutting them from the frame and inking each piece.
I embossed each piece with clear embossing powder for a shiny effect.
The watering can was placed in the upper left corner.
The wheelbarrow was placed amongst the grass in the lower right corner.
Several flowers were added atop the wheelbarrow for a 3D effect.
