Seashell Shaker Card
May 27, 2021
Hello crafty friends! It's Maya here on the blog today to share this beach themed shaker card featuring the mini shaker shell. I am a big fan of all the shakers and I enjoy using them to create shaker cards, turning them into something unique!
▼ The shaker pack includes 1 chipboard back, 3 chipboard forms, and 1 acrylic divider.
▼ I started by decorating the shell shaker. First, I laid a chipboard form on a patterned paper, traced the shape using a pencil, cut it out, and adhered to the chipboard back using tacky glue.
▼ Here I adhered two chipboard forms to the chipboard back and placed the sequins. Then, remove protective films on both sides of the acrylic divider and glue it to the chipboard form.
▼ Next, I gave a coat of white embossing powder to the chipboard form and used tacky glue to adhere it to the top of the shell.
▼ Here you can see all the ephemera that I fussy cut from a patterned paper. I used them to layer and decorate around the card.
▼ The card size is 6.5 x 5 inches. I used white card stock and covered it with a wood grain patterned paper for the background. And I just layered and glued all the elements and the shell shaker to finish the card.
Thank you for stopping by today. I hope you are inspired to create some shaker cards using the cute shakers. Have a wonderful day!
