Beyond the Sea Tag
May 14, 2021
Hello everyone and happy Friday! Do you love beach themed projects? It's Maya here on the blog today to share this beach themed tag using the acrylic tag and sand dollar chipboard embellishments.
▼ I started by moving the films on both sides of the tag and covering with a 3.5 x 5.5 patterned paper.
▼ I also cut out a blue banner for the background. Next, I used ephemera that I fussy cut from the patterned papers and layered them on the tag. For the layering effect, I adhered some pieces with double sided adhesive foam tape to add depth to the project.
▼ For the chipboard starfish, I decided to give it a coat of embossing powder. I started by tapping the chipboard on the watermark ink pad.
▼ Next is to sprinkle white embossing powder to the starfish. Shake on enough so that powder is sticking to all parts of the chipboard. Then, hold the chipboard slightly tilted over a piece of paper to catch the powder. Lastly, put the chipboard on a piece of paper and use a heat gun to melt the powder.
▼ I also added some blue and green embossing powder on the edge of the starfish to give it more colors. And it's time to layer and glue all the pieces to the tag.
Thank you all for stopping by today. I hope this beach themed tag brighten your day. Blessings.
