Hearts Wood Card
Clear Scraps Coffee Mug Chipboard--Cup of Love Acrylic Card

Quick Easy Stamped Acrylic Valentine's Day Card

I love using acrylic in my cards!  For today's project I wanted to really play up on the transparent-ness of the acrylic and try stamping an image for accents on my acrylic and to add extra dimensions to my card. This is definitely a quick and easy project which I love this time of year as I always seem to be needing lots of last minute cards!

Supplies needed

Clears Scraps 12 x 12 Acrylic Sheet

Stamps, Ink (staz-on and archival), patterned Paper, Doilies, Card Stock, Card Base, lace

Start by trimming your card base front so that you have about a 1/2 inch left as shown.

Trim your Clears Scraps 12 x 12 Acrylic Sheet to fit your card base. Remove protective layer off  one side of your acrylic (I always leave the protective layer on my back side until I  am done creating!)  Stamp heart repeatedly onto acrylic. I choose a simpler stamp and used extra magnets (just in case) on my stamping platform.

I just love how you can see through the acrylic and yet "see" the hearts I stamped! (note this still has the back layer of protective covering!)

On your card base add lace.

Adhere your stamped acrylic sheet to your lacy card base.

Adhere your card stock to the inside of your card base.

Add a patterned paper block and a stamped heart matted on a a paper doily to finish the inside of your card!  I hope you are inspired to try stamping on your Clears Scraps 12 x 12 Acrylic Sheets.
