You and Me Desktop Frame by Maya
January 26, 2021
Hello everyone! Maya here on the blog today to share this home decor piece featuring the You & Me Desktop Frame. I had so much fun making this project. The cut out heart frame is so perfect for a favorite photo, and I decided to use our wedding photo.
▼ The desktop frame comes with 1 laser cut word frame, a heart shape cutout, and 2 base pieces for the standing frame. To start the project, I traced the wood word and both bases on a patterned paper. After that, I cut the paper with a carving craft knife. Then, I used tacky glue to adhere the patterned papers on the wood word and bases.
▼ For the cutout heart frame, I applied a coat of white embossing powder and heated with a heat gun. Next, I traced the heart frame on my photo, cut and glued it to the word frame, and glued the embossed frame on top of the photo.
▼ After I assembled the pieces, I also tied a bow with cheesecloth and added two paper flowers for extra touches.
