Hi everyone, Steph Ackerman here today and I've used the 12x12 Acrylic Sheet to create a Snow Day layout featuring our pup, Caramel. This was her first snow day and she absolutely loved it!
Taking off the plastic film from one side of the panel, I painted it with Gesso. Since I wanted to added spray inks to the acrylic sheet, I first had to prep the sheet with Gesso. Leaving the plastic film on the other side keeps it clean while working on the top side.
Once the Gesso dried, I spritzed several colors of blue spray inks on the panel, allowing each layer to dry before adding additional colors.
Pick up the panel and allow the colors to run. Flick white paint on the panel to simulate snow drops.
Tear white Rinea Foiled Paper to create snow mounds. Ink the torn edges with blue ink and adhere the snow mounds to the panel.
Mat photos with turquoise Rinea Foiled Paper and place on the panel.
Using Sizzix dies, die cut Snow Day '20 and add to the panel.
Using blue ink and a background stamp, stamp it randomly about the panel.
Next, use a word stamp with gray ink and randomly stamp it about the panel.
Add a third smaller photo to the layout with foam adhesives for dimension.
Thanks for stopping by.
Steph
