Love You More Wood Heart

Hola,

Tami here with you on the blog today to share a project for Valentine's Day.

Valentine's Day is the perfect time to show your loved ones your love. Moms, dads, hubbie, kids, grandmas, grandpas, aunts, uncles and friends. Any of them would appreciate a special gift they will know was made just for them.

And although my project was designed for Valentine's Day; change up the colors and it would be nice as a anniversary gift or even a birthday present.

The base of the project is the Heart Wood Shape and accented by Love You More XL Script Wood Quote both by Clear Scraps.

I covered the heart with 2 different printed papers; with the one on the right being slightly wider than the one on the left. Use a file to remove excess paper from around the edges, then place a sticker strip over where the papers meet. Trim sticker strip...

Paint "Love You More" with white paint; let dry, then outline letters with gel pens...

Use the 6" 5 Heart Stencil to trace and cut out different sizes of hearts on different colors of cardstock. You will need 3 of each size: Small, Medium and Large. Outline the hearts with gel pens, then use Foam Tape to stack the 3 sizes together to form 3 hearts...

Adhere "Love You More" to the left of the heart, and the 3 hearts on the right in a vertical row. Add stickers to accent the design...

Finish by adhering a ribbon loop to the back for hanging...
