Clear Scraps Mini Shaker Snowman--Winter Wonderland Card
Create your Own Gingerbread House with DIY Pallets

Tall Snowman

Hello, Kelly Parker on the blog today with Clear Scraps and thinking about snow! I love snow and snowmen especially! When my kids were little we would always go out and make snowmen, they loved finding the right carrot noses and rocks for their face!

For my project today, I used the Rectangle Medium DIY Pallet Shape, I knew as soon as I saw this pallet, what I wanted to do, paint a snowman for the front porch.

First of all, I sketched a snowman shape on my pallet and then started painting. I painted the hat first, then the snowman, then his face and buttons. I then decided I wanted the background to be light blue so I mixed up my paint and painted the background.

When I was done with this, I let the whole thing dry and thought it needed something more, so I used the white sequins from the Lovely Sequins pack and glued them on as snowflakes.

Then I drilled holes in the top of the pallet and added the wire to hang my snowman! He is adorable on the porch and welcomes all the visitors!
