Hello! How is everyone today! Laura here to share a fun winter home decor project!!
Have you played with one of Clear Scraps Medium DIY Pallets yet?? If not, what
are you waiting for?!! They are so fun, and you can create something to match any
decor, holiday, season, you want!! You can find all the different shapes HERE.
For this project I used the Square Medium DIY Pallet, and I started by covering
it with a patterned paper. Then I grabbed one of the Clear Scraps stencils, the
6" Nordic stencil. To add a touch of shimmery snowflakes on both of the corners,
I positioned the stencil on the corner and applied a shimmery stencil paste.
This is on both corners, and then I brushed all the edges with white paint.
The adorable mittens go great with this stencil! They are the Clear Scraps
Mittens Chipboard Embellishments. They are painted with aqua and white
acrylic paint, the white on the cuffs, but I wanted a frosty fun look, so I
used some chunky glitter. Just added glue to the cuffs of the mittens,
then sprinkled the glitter and gently patted it down. So now they look
like a pair of fluffy, furry mittens. The twine string is the perfect touch.
Some stickers and enamel dots dress it up, and the sentiment is cut
out of a patterned paper sheet. I added a few more little snowflake
and tree stickers around the sentiment too. You could easily add a
ribbon to hang this--just punch holes with a crop-a-dile to string it.
It's so fun to dress up these adorable Medium DIY Pallets! Make
sure to check out the store for those, and all the fun stencils and the
chipboard embellishments as well--so many choices!
Thanks for stopping by today! Stop back soon!
