Clear Scraps Circle DIY Medium Pallet--Happy New Year Clock
Faith Over Fear Heart Pallet by Maya

Cassy Mixable Album

Hello friends and happy New Years Eve!  So happy to see this year come to a close and praying 2021 is a much better year for everyone!  Today, I'm sharing a mini album I created using the Cassy Mixable Album and a few Clear Scraps goodies!  I used photos from a family photo shoot this past fall; if anything 2020 has made me realize how important family is!

I began by removing the protective film from the front of the first acrylic page.  Using modeling paste and the 6 Inch Spiro Flower  Mascil, I applied a light layer of the paste with a spatula.  I then set it aside to dry.

Once I ensured my modeling paste was completely dry, I placed my Masil over the area and used Distress Oxide inks to color portions of the flower.

Here is a close up of the end result; you can see its not perfect but that is ok!  I still love the beautiful effect!

Now I was ready to add paper and embellishments to my front cover.  I used the Embroidery Hoops Chipboard Shape Embellishmentto accent the title.  I decided to lightly brush the front with light grey chalk paint to allow some of the chipboard to show through.

My next page, which is chipboard, I painted the edges with chalk paint in off white (again not doing full coverage for a distressed look).

For my next acrylic page, I used the 4x6 Butterfly Flock Stencil with my modeling paste.

And again, I chose coordinating Distress Inks to color the butterflies.

It's difficult to see the detail but I set my photo at the bottom of the page to allow the stencil to take up a majority of my page.

Here is a better snapshot of the colored butterflies:

On the back of this page, I positioned my papers to line up with side A to not allow any papers to "show through".

Next is a larger chipboard page which nicely fits a 4x6 photo; you can even add multiple smaller photos if preferred.

For my last acrylic page, I applied coordinating alcohol inks to the outside edges blending with mixative in white.

I then adhered a smaller piece of patterned paper as my background allowing the alcohol ink to show through.
