Clear Scraps House Pallet--Hello Fall Home Decor

Hi everyone!  Laura here with you today!

I've got some fall home decor inspiration to share with you!

I'm a huge fan of the Clear Scraps medium pallets for creating home decor pieces.

But don't be afraid of the larger pallet shapes!  This one is the House DIY Pallet Shape.

It's size is 16.25" by 21" so it makes a great piece to hang up (easy to punch holes with

a crop-a-dile and add a hanging ribbon or add a picture hanger on the back).

To create this one, I left a little secret when I painted the wooden pallet with brown paint:

Since there's no reason to paint the center when I was covering it with paper!

For the center portion, it's almost like creating a LO to go in the center of

the piece.  I cut and layered the paper just like I would on a LO, then added

some stickers, twine and enamel dots to embellish it up.  I wanted a title on

this one, so I chose the Clear Scraps Home LG Chipboard Embellishment.

Love that it's easy to paint up with some acrylic paint in any color so

I can match whatever project I'm working on!  You can stamp on it,

spray it, ink it, whatever you'd like to do!  I used some brown distress

ink around edges to add to the fall look of this home decor piece.

One of the nice things on these words, is that the letters are separate

so you can put them any which way on your project.  I overlapped

them slightly on this project.  It creates a little interest and depth

rather than just gluing them on flat.  They are also large enough that

they don't get lost behind the cute little pumpkin stickers.  They

definitely hold their own!

Thanks so much for stopping by today!  Happy Fall!
