Hi everyone!! Laura here today, to share a fun and easy
birthday scrapbook page idea with you!!
I'm a huge fan of embellishments and chipboard embellishments
are especially fun because they can be custom made to match
any picture, papers, or other embellishments that you want.
In this scrapbook page, I used the Clear Scraps Present Chipboard
to add just a little something extra to the edge of my birthday LO.
I used aqua acrylic paint for the box and lid part, and then
used a brush to use red acrylic paint to paint the bow.
Super simple, but it matches my papers so well! I also
used a bright, fun piece of polka dotted patterned paper
behind the chipboard piece. Just trace the present onto
the paper, cut out, and glue. Another way you can
customize the look of this piece.
To make the piece pop off the paper a little more, and
to add a highlight that matched the gray background
paper of this LO, I brushed the edges of the painted
chipboard present piece with some soft black ink using
a sponge applicator. A few layered mats, twine, and
stickers, and I've got an adorable birthday LO!
The present is one of so many different options you'll
see in the Clear Scraps store HERE. You can find holidays,
seasons, and so many different themes, everything from
baby, to cooking, to pets, beach, even that famous mouse!
These are great to pick up to have for any scrapbook page,
home decor project, or even cards! This gift chipboard
piece I've shared today could be for a wedding, for baby,
for Christmas in addition to birthday. I love having
embellishments around I can customize as I go!
Thanks so much for stopping by today.
Hope you are inspired to try some of these fun pieces!
