Candy Corn Shaker by Steph

Hi everyone, Steph Ackerman here creating with one of the new Clear Scraps shakers.  There are 14 new shakers available and each one is as cute as can be!

Consisting of  4 die cut chipboard pieces and 1 acrylic piece, the candy corn shaker is fun to create.
Just remember to remove the plastic coating from both sides of the acrylic piece before assembling.

I painted each piece with white paint.  Now we all know that candy corn consists of 3 colors, so I painted the base piece with white, yellow and orange so each cavity is a different color.

I adhered the bottom 3 chipboard pieces together and put it aside to dry.
Next, I adhered the acrylic panel to the top piece and placed it aside to dry.
Once dry, I placed clear mini beads in each cavity and then glued the top pieces in place to complete the candy corn.

Isn't that fun?  It looks like real candy corn doesn't it?

To hang it on the fridge, just glue a magnet on the back.

Or you can use it to decorate a card or gift bag for Halloween and give to someone special.

Thanks for stopping by.

Steph
