Hi everyone, Steph Ackerman here today showcasing the Fancy Butterflies Chipboard Embellishments.
The chipboard butterflies are perfect for all your projects, but I wanted to use them on some much needed cards.
Using an assortment of inks, I colored the butterflies then added embossing powder to give them a bit of shine.
Using spritzed papers from my stash, I placed the 6" Post/Flowers Stencil on top, then used assorted inks to add color.
Removing and realigning the stencil, I added a 3rd flower. For shine, I added embossing powder and heat set.
The stenciled panel was matted with green cardstock, then added to a yellow card.
The largest butterfly was added to the card at it's body only. I let the wings stay free, so it appears the butterfly is flying. A stamped phrase was then added to the corner of the card with pop dots for dimension.
My second card is also a spritzed panel that was embossed and die cut.
A double row of cattails was added to the bottom of the card. The panel was then matted with blue cardstock and added to the card. A stamped phrase was then added to the corner of the card with pop dots for dimension.
Thanks for stopping by.
Steph
