Girl Mouse Mini Shaker Layout

Hello and happy July! It's Jennifer here to share a layout I  created with one of the Mini Shaker Shapes that were released this past January! However 14 new designs were just debuted this past week so be sure to check them out!  If you are a fan of all things Disney then you will love the Girl Mouse Mini Shaker!  I  used it as the main accent on my layout from our trip to WDW in 2018.

I'm going to show you how I   assembled my shaker!  I  began by painting the top frame as well as the edges of the middle two frames with black acrylic ink (I  always adhere my middle frames together before painting).

While allowing my paint to dry, I  selected a background patterned paper to adhere to my chipboard base. I  used my Beacon 3-in-1 Adhesive and then trimmed away excess paper with scissors. Using an x-acto knife and sanding tool helps to smooth out any rough edges.

Again using my Beacon Adhesive, I  adhered the two middle chipboard frames to the base.  I  was then ready to add sequins to the center of my shaker; it helps to not add too much as well as try to keep them centered so they do not end up glued to the sides.

Next, I  used adhesive around the chipboard to place the acrylic piece followed by the top chipboard frame. I  then added a light coat of black acrylic paint around the edges of my shaker to give it a finished look.

I  glued my shaker with the Beacon Adhesive to ensure a secure hold.

You can see I  added sticker and chipboard embellishments around my shaker to accent.

I  also added a cute sticker banner to the top right corner and stitched through with my sewing machine.
