2020 Wood Album by Steph

Hi everyone, Steph Ackerman here today using the Blank 6x8  Wood Album.

As this album is blank, you can determine how you want to use it.
I decided to  create a journal for 2020.
With all that has been going on this year, this album will aid in documenting all that has happened.

Use assorted colors of spray inks to add color to the covers.  Use a paper towel, if necessary, to blend and blot the colors where they meet.  You can be light handed, as I was, or heavy handed, depending on the look you are seeking.  With a light effect, I love the wood grain that shows through the spray inks.  Be sure to spritz both sides of the album covers so you can choose which sides you want for the exterior of the album.

Place the 6" Shattered Glass Stencil on the corner of the front panel.  Use modeling paste to create texture and dimension over a portion of the stencil.

Remove the stencil and clean it immediately.  Place the album aside and let it dry.

Ink the 2020 Chipboard Word Title with 2 coordinating colors of ink and emboss with clear embossing powder.  This adds a little bit of shine to the chipboard word title.

Glue 2020 to the front cover.

Cut papers to fit the album then add rings to finish the album.  I left the papers plain.  I plan on decorating each page as I complete the album.

Thanks for stopping by.

Steph
