Clear Scraps Medium DIY Pallet -- You are My Anchor

Hi there everyone!  Laura here with you today to share

a fun project using one of the Clear Scraps wooden

pallets, and one of the new mini shakers!

I love all things beach, and sea life, and I decorate with items like

this every summer!  It's even better when you can make your own

home decor to match your personal taste, colors, etc.  And this

is just one idea for the Square Medium DIY Pallet Shape from

Clear Scraps.  These shapes are fun to work with, and you can

choose a heart shape, a circle, a house, and so much more!  There

are even some great seasonal shapes to play with too!  You can

find all of them in the Clear Scraps store right HERE.   This one

I cut paper strips to cover, inked the edges with Distress Ink, and

then glued them down onto the slats.  You could also paint, or stain,

or?  These pallets have great versatility that you can get creative with!

The other Clear Scraps item on this project is the Anchor Mini Shaker.

I've said it before, I LOVE these shakers!  They add so much

to any project, whether it's a LO, a card, a home decor project,

or anything!  So easy to use too, this one was just painted with

blue acrylic paint, added a few beads and sequins, and then

glue the layers together with a favorite adhesive, it's that easy!

I added a couple of pretty medallions cut out of patterned paper,

and some enamel dots for a little "bling" for a cute addition.

The top of the pallet has a little sticker tag and bit of twine.

A couple of fun little touches to finish the project off.  Now

it's a complete piece of home decor ready to use for summer!

Thanks so much for stopping by today!
