Clear Scraps Chipboard Embellishments -- Footprints
June 22, 2020
Hello everyone!
Summer is right around the corner, and though vacations
might be a little different this year for some of us, I'm planning
a "staycation" playing in my craft space and scrapbooking
some vacation memories, so I can remember the quiet,
calm, and peaceful, time at the beach. And this month,
Clear Scraps is playing along with Tape Runner Adhesive,
it's perfect for the LO I'm sharing with you today!
This started with a blank piece of white cardstock, and I used
acrylic paint and the Clear Scraps 6" Spiral stencil.
I went randomly around the edges using a foam brush and
the blue acrylic paint to create my own patterned paper border.
I decided I wanted a little more of a beachy feel for the border,
so I used the foam brush to create wispy areas of color.
I just used the brush after I stenciled with the tiniest bit
of paint on it and brushed it on between the stenciled
shapes. Less is definitely more when you are using the
foam brush and paint! In the bottom corner of the LO,
don't you love that little beach scene?
The umbrella and adirondack chair come in the same
set, the Beach Chair Chipboard Embellishment. You
cut them free from the frame they come in, and then
paint, or whatever you'd like.
A little sand mixed with glossy accents made the perfect
spot for the chair and umbrella to sit and finish this LO.
