Welcome Wagon Wood Pallet

Hiya,

Tami here today, thanks for stopping by to see what new project the design team has for you!

I wanted a home decor piece to put by my front door to welcome friends and family. I knew I wanted to use one of Clear Scraps Wood Pallets, and to incorporate one of the XL Script Words. I picked out the Medium Square Pallet and the XL Script Welcome Word seemed fitting. But I needed something else to embellish the pallet with. While scrolling through the chipboard embellishments, I found the Large Chipboard Wagon. Perfect! A "welcome wagon" for my welcome pallet...

So once I had my parts picked out, it was time to put them all together. I chose colors that coordinated with my new paint and furnishings and got busy painting and embellishing, here's my finished piece...

I put together a short video showing how I made this project step-by-step...

This project would make a wonderful housewarming or wedding gift.

If you wanted to use it on an outside door, you could use wood or silk flowers. Be sure to give the finished project a coat of clear matte spray paint to protect it from the elements.
