Clear Scraps Wooden Stars--

Hi there everyone!  Laura here with you today, sharing

a project created to use for Memorial Day or the 4th of

July, or anytime you're feeling a little patriotic!!  It

would even be cute to leave out all summer!

I'm such a fan of the cute antique truck look!  And this

truck is full of patriotic goodness!  It started with a

Wooden Star from Clear Scraps, that I traced onto a fun

red, white, and blue patterned paper, cut out, and glued

down on the wooden star.  The Wooden Star is a new item

that isn't quite in the store yet, but keep checking HERE.

The two smaller stars are a set of nested wooden stars.  I also

traced and cut out the smaller star.  The larger open star,

was painted with acrylic paint in solid red to separate it

from the patterned papers just a bit.   These two smaller

stars are also something new coming soon, so make sure to

keep your eyes peeled and check in that same "What's New"

section in the Clear Scraps store often!  There are a lot of fun

goodies to check out right now too!  Chipboard, stencils, frames

and more!! The stars are layered up on the project with a paper

banner and chipboard truck from a sticker collection set.

I added more layers with the heart, flowers and flag to give

this project that fun patriotic vibe!  I always like those fun

little extra touches, so I added enamel dots to the flower

centers, and for a little extra pizzazz sprinkled around the

project.  It's a super simple project that make a cute home

decor piece to display!

Thanks so much for stopping by today!  Hope you

enjoyed the inspiration, and you are ready to create

your own!  Stop back soon for more great ideas!
