Hi everyone, Steph Ackerman here today using the Mini Shaker Butterfly.
Have you seen the variety of shakers available at Clear Scraps? There are just so many choices!
This cute butterfly shaker is not only quick to make, it's also a lot of fun to personalize for someone special.
Just separate all the pieces then paint the top and bottom layers with gesso.
Place them aside to dry.
Once dry, I painted the layers with pink paint.
The gesso allowed the pink paint to stand out.
Placing a heavy book on top helped the layers adhere.
After adhering the flower in place, I added a small clay flower to the center.
Then I glued a magnet to the back.
With the many shakers available, there are many options for creating an assortment of designs.
I have mine on the fridge, but they could easily adorn a young girls room, don't you think?
Thanks for stopping by.
Steph
