Hello Spring Cards

Clear Scraps XL Script Wood Quote--You Got This!!

Hi there everyone!  Laura here with you today to share

a little positivity and encouragement!  We could all

use a little of that right now!  At least we do have the

signs of spring, gorgeous warm weather, sunshine,

the grass is starting to get green and some of those

early springtime flowers are starting to make their

appearance.  At least that's what it looks like here in

the midwest!  You might be a little ahead or a little

behind, but gotta love spring!

My project that I'm sharing with you today has a

little bit of springtime mixed with the encouragment

we all need a little bit of right now!

This bright cheerful little sign uses a wooden star base (coming

soon from Clear Scraps....watch the "What's New" section!) and

the XL Script Wood Quote--You Got This is spot on for a reminder

we can get through this together a day at a time!

To create this one, I started by tracing the wooden star shape on

the bright flower patterned paper.  I cut it out and glued it to the

star base.  Then I brushed the edges with some bright pink acrylic

paint for a pop of color.   The You Got This sentiment is painted

with yellow acrylic paint.

What could be more cheerful than bright yellow paint??!!

And then I added a couple of heart stickers, and tied a little

spring birdie tag to the letter "U" with a bit of twine.

I wanted to showcase the springtime vibe a little more,

and the hello spring sticker was perfect! I am so happy

spring is here, hope you are too!  Enjoy the sunshine

(and the rain bringing those sweet spring flowers)

Thanks so much for stopping by today!
